Published by Ediciones Asimétricas, this book brings together the Seven Lessons on Architecture delivered in 2025 by seven professors from the Madrid School of Architecture (ETSAM-UPM). The initiative continues the series led by Alberto Campo Baeza at the Real Academia de Bellas Artes de San Fernando, the alma mater of ETSAM.
Over the course of seven weeks, seven invited professors shared their reflections on essential architectural themes, drawing on decades of dedication to teaching, research and professional practice. The lectures attracted a large audience of students, architects and architecture enthusiasts, and are now brought together in these seven texts alongside their illustrations. The book reflects both the outstanding quality of the lectures and the generosity of the professors who delivered them: Manuel Blanco, Juan Carlos Sancho, Juan Herreros, Carmen Espegel, Jesús Aparicio, Iñaki Ábalos and Emilio Tuñón.
