2025 may, MASTER’S JURY AT UNIVERSIDAD REY JUAN CARLOS

On May 20, 2025, Alberto Campo Baeza participated as an invited professor in a critical session for the master’s in architecture at Universidad Rey Juan Carlos. The jury was the end of the course Applied Construction taught by Professors Alejandro Cervilla and Rafael Gómez, and furthered Campo Baeza’s ongoing collaboration with the School of Engineering at Universidad Rey Juan Carlos, which began in the 2024/2025 academic year with his lecture A hombros de la técnica (On the Shoulders of Technique).
Alongside the master’s students, other students and faculty members from the university also attended the session. During the event, Alberto Campo Baeza reviewed several final-degree projects, highlighting the close connection between design and construction, and praised both students and professors for the high standard of the work, particularly in terms of its formal and constructive clarity. At the end of the session, students asked Professor Campo Baeza about the current state of the architectural practice, his extensive teaching experience, and some of the most iconic projects of his career.
