Last weekend the investiture ceremony of the HONORARY AIA FELLOWSHIPS 2019 took place at the Smith Center for the Performing Arts in LAS VEGAS. This year the Spanish architect ALBERTO CAMPO BAEZA was awarded an Honorary Fellowship.
The AIA, the American Institute of Architects, is the most important association of architects in the US and it generally confers the prestigious award of Honorary Fellowship on eminent architects from all over the world.
The Spanish architect ALBERTO CAMPO BAEZA is Professor Emeritus at the Polytechnic University of Madrid UPM and has taught at the University of PENN in Philadelphia, the ETH in Zurich and the EPFL in Lausanne, as well as at many other prestigious universities around the world. He is also a member of the San Fernando Royal Academy of Fine Arts.
