Alberto Campo Baeza

On 29 April, renowned architect Alberto Campo Baeza gave an inspiring lecture in Burgos titled Architecture and Communication. The event, hosted by Arquia Banca in collaboration with the Official College of Architects of Castile and León, brought together a large and engaged audience of professionals, students, and architecture enthusiasts. It was held at Arquia Banca’s new headquarters in Burgos—a building designed and built by Campo Baeza himself.

During his talk, Campo Baeza explored architecture’s capacity to serve as a medium of communication, reflecting on how built spaces can express ideas and evoke emotion. He also shared some of his studio’s most recent projects, including the Robert Olnick Pavilion—the latest extension of Magazzino Italian Art in Garrison, New York—and a striking new skyscraper design for Manhattan.
