2026 January, MORE THAN ONE HUNDRED COPIES of MEDITATIONS BY MARCUS AURELIUS
I have now read over 100 different editions of Marcus Aurelius’ Meditations.
Anyone might think I am a linguist or a philosopher, or a bookworm or someone with a superlative culture. None of that. I am a simple architect who loves the extraordinary beauty that human beings are capable of creating. And it must be acknowledged that this text written by Marcus Aurelius (121-180 AD) is extraordinarily beautiful.
When, in 2013, in New York, the first copy of those Meditations fell into my hands, I never imagined it would come to this.
